50,000th BMW Z4 Roadster E89 Rolled of BMW’s Regensburg Plant

The 50,000th Z4 unit rolled of the BMW Regensburg Plant production line in Germany. This only means that the BMW Z4 roadster E89 generation already passed the first hurdle two years after its launch. This fifty thousandth BMW Z4 sDrive23i is painted Crimson Red and will be shipped to a BMW customer in China.

The second generation Z4 was built in the BMW Regensburg plant where BMW invested 130 million euros. The BMW 3 Series Convertible E93 is also produced in the same plant.

The z4 is considered a global leader in sales as it gets an impressive 56% market share. According to BMW Plant Manager Dr. Andreas Wendt: “The new BMW Z4 impresses customers and employees. The production of the vehicle because of the retractable roof aluminum is very demanding. The high quality we achieve, and strong demand from customers make us so proud. Our staff does an excellent job.”
