BMW beats Mercedes with a 20% November sales increase

BMW significantly outspaced the sales of their competitor Mercedes- Benz for November 2010. BMW, Mini, and Rolls-Royce deliveries increased to a whopping 20% for a total of 129,014 units in November 2010 alone. This is BMW’s highest monthly gain for 2010, lifting the year to date sales to 1.32 million vehicles for a total of 14% sales increase for 2010.

BMW Saled Chief Ian Robertson said: “BMW is well on its way to reaching its target of more than 1.4 million units this year. We are outperforming the market and were able to expand our market share worldwide once again.”

The bestsellers for the BMW are the 5 Series, X1, and the new MINI Countryman. With the rebound of the U.S. luxury car demand and China’s continuous support for luxury cars, BMW gained the extra momentum it needed.
