Photo Rendering – 2012 BMW M5 in Frozen Grey

Here are new renderings of the upcoming 2012 BMW M5 from M5board in Frozen Grey paint and sporty black wheels. This will make its world premiere in April 2011 in a concept form at the Shanghai Auto Show.

Reports say that the production BMW M5 will have a bonnet emphasized by concave and convex shapes. The design lines continue to flow from front to end and they become even more substantiated on the sides. The car is lower than the regular 5 Series. It has wider rear fenders for a muscular look. Typical quad exhausts remain with a sculpted diffuser and central intake. A small bootlid spoiler allows the car to remain understated and restrained.

It will be powered by a 4.4-liter V8 twin-scroll powerplant delivering 578 horsepower and 530 lb-ft of torque. It accelerates from 0-62 mph in 4.4 seconds.
