BMW S 1000 RR voted as Best Sports Motorcycle

After BMW Motorrad’s great race at the FIM Superbike World Championship race held in Monza, BMW creates more noteworthy news. The readers of Das Sport-Motorrad Magazin has crowned BMW as the best motorcycle brand. BMW motorcyles earned the number one spot in style, two other categories, and four additional top ten positions as well. It was a sweep for BMW.

Hendrik von Kuenheim, Head of BMW Motorrad, commented on the result of the vote. He thanked the people for overwhelming support for the S 1000 RR and BMW’s sporty motorcycles. Truly, this reflects the public’s enthusiasm about BMW products.

A few of the categories that BMW won were Best Sport Motorcycle over 700 cc, Best Sports Motorcycle, Best Sporty All-Rounder, and Best motorcycle brand.

This was also an overwhelming confirmation of support, following the S 1000 RR was voted “Motorcycle of the Year 2010″ in MOTORRAD Magazine’s readers’ vote last March 2010.
