BMW is starting to reveal more details about the ActiveE, two weeks before its debut in Geneva. Now, BMW gives us the technical specifications behind the 1 Series Coupe electric vehicle. The basic facts have already been revealed like the 170 horsepower and the 250 Nm torque. But buried in these technical specs is a shocking revelation: the ActiveE weighs 1815 kilograms, 400 kilograms heavier than the 170 horsepower 120i Coupe. The weight distribution is 50:50. Automobile journalists expected this vehicle to be at least 1,500 kilograms and below through the use of extensive carbon fiber. BMW says the ActiveE has a driving range of 160 kilometers on full charge. See the specifications on the sheets below:
