Carscoop gives us some interesting photos of a new model that Brilliance Automotive is working on. Brilliance is known to be the Chinese partner of BMW. The partnership has been announced last year together with the plans of building BMW’s manufacturing plant in China. BMW was pretty confident about this partnership because China is really an important market in the premium segment. However, Brilliance Automotive took the same opportunity that Mercedes-Benz’s China partner BAIC did by copying the design of their partners. These photos show the Brilliance A3 SUV — a compact SUV that closely resembles the BMW X1. Reports say this model will be revealed at the upcoming Shanghai Auto Show in April and will be offered with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine from Mitsubishi.
