BMW Ranks Third Place in Reaching EU CO2 Targets

According to a report by Autonews, BMW is one of the closest car manufacturers in terms of reaching the C02 emission targets of the European Union. The premium car manufacturer follows closely behind Toyota and PSA in terms of this sustainable improvement in their vehicles. In 2015, all car manufacturers are required by the EU to reduce CO2 emissions to reach a fleet average of 130 grams per kilometer. To reach goal, BMW just needs to improve by 7.1% — a big advantage as compared to its competitors. BMW is showing that true German engineering can keep up with the trends and the need for social awareness.
