First Photos – 2012 ALPINA B6 Bi-Turbo Convertible

ALPINA allows us to take the first look at their new 2012 ALPINA B6 Bi-Turbo Convertible, designed based on the new BMW 6 Series Convertible. Aside from adding the ALPINA turbochraged system increasing the vehicle’s power output to 500hp at 5,500 rpm and maximum torque to 516 lb-ft between 3,000 and 4,750 rpm, other details have not been disclosed. This vehicle will sprint from 0 to 62 mph in 4.8 seconds and has a top speed of 193 mph. The visual enhancements includes a new front apron. The vehicle will make its official debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. It has not been confirmed yet if it will be showcased at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show.
