The MINI Coupe John Cooper Works was present at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show. With its beautiful body kit and red roof that contrasts with the black paint, the vehicle surely grabbed a lot of attention. Under the hood, the car is powered by a 1.6 liter four-cylinder petrol engine with twin-scroll turbocharger and direct injection delivering 155 kW/211 hp at 6,000 rpm, maximum torque of 260 Nm/192 lb-ft at 1,850 – 5,600 rpm (280 Nm/207 lb-ft with Overboost at 1,700 – 4,500 rpm, acceleration from 0–100 km/h (62 mph) in 6.4 seconds, and a top speed of 240 km/h (149 mph).
