The BMW Zagato Coupe’s public debut was held at the annual Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2012 near lake Como, Italy. This annual event combines the automobile history with the future of exclusive sport cars and concepts, of which BMW is a clear contender.

In the past year, BMW has made it a tradition to reveal only new, emotional, and glamorous concepts. To live up to the high expectations, BMW teamed up with Milanese coachbuilder Zagato to create the Zagato Coupe, a one-off model that is product of many hours of skilled hand-craftsmanship and breathes new life into the tradition of coachbuilding.

BMW’s Chief Designer Adrian Van Hooydonk, Andrea Zagato and Zagato chief designer Norihiko Harada were present at the event to introduce their joint creation.
