BMW 6 Series Gran Touring Rumored to Come to Market

Another rumor is brought to the table today. L’Automobile, a French publication, recently reported that aside from a big four-door Gran Touring model, the BMW 6 Series Gran Touring is being evaluated as well. This vehicle will have a size and luxury that can compete with the Mercedes Benz CLS Shooting Break and the Jaguar XF Shooting Break and will be positioned in a higher niche in the market. Previous rumors say that if the market will demand a new niche vehicle, BMW might consider building the 6 Series Gran Touring. However, BMW insider Scott27 now says that such model is due out in 2014. As of the moment, BMW has not confirmed this yet. Stay tuned for more news about this vehicle.
