The BMW Rahal Letterman Racing Team M3 GTs will start fifth and sixth this Sunday at the ultra-competitive GT class on American Le Mans Series Larry H. Miller Dealerships Utah Grand Prix.
Tommy Milner had his first qualifying run of the season and placed the No. 92 M3 GT fifth on the GT grid. It just took him 1:47.966 minutes around the 3.048-mile, 15-turn circuit, and only .299 seconds off the pole. Dirk Müller also drove the No. 90 M3 GT to the sixth starting position.
With a stellar record of four podium finishes in the first three races of the season, BMW is at second in GT manufacturer points.
The BMW drivers Joey Hand and Dirk Müller stand third, and Bill Auberlen and Tommy Milner stand fourth in Driver points.
