A possible sighting of the BMW 2 Series Convertible variant with a soft top was captured in Germany. Rumor has it that BMW will be launching a a new 2 Series family in 2013 with both coupe and convertible variants. The vehicles are said to be build on the F20 platform, sharing a number of design cues with the 1 Series Hatchback, only sportier. The F23 2 Series fleet is also expected to use the same engines and transmissions as the 1 Series family.
Rumors of high-end 235i Coupe and Convertible models and an M Performance Automobile M235i are also circulating.
