Presenting BMW 4 Series M Performance Parts and Limited Slip Differential (LSD)

BMW_4_Series_M_Performance_Parts4Bimmerpost reports from Lisbon, Portugal, where the BMW press launch for the BMW 4 Series was held, and gives us the first look at the upcoming M Performance Parts for the 4 Series that will be available before the year ends. Here is an excerpt from their report:

Performance Parts:

BMW will finally offer an optional limited slip differential (LSD) as part of the M Performance Parts catalog. The LSD will be a clutch type unit and feature a 30% lockup. LSD may be offered for other models eventually, depending on how well it sells for the 4 Series.

The M Performance LSD will join the other mechanical upgrades we have seen in the F30 3 Series Catalog – the M Performance Power Kit, exhaust system, brakes, suspension (10mm lowering), and a new style 20″ M Performance wheels.

Cosmetic Parts:

The M Performance aero parts include the carbon fiber front splitter, rear spoiler, rear diffuser, and mirror caps. It also includes black sides kirt blades and kidney grilles. The sides of the car feature M Performance stripes. Like the F30, the front splitter and rear diffusers require the M Sport Package bumpers.

Interior:

The interior includes: alcantara dashboard, carbon interior trim with alcantara, M Performance alcantara steering wheel with race display, carbon fiber trim and contrast stitching, carbon fiber gearshift lever with alcantara gaiter, stainless steel pedal covers / footrest, carbon fiber hand brake lever with alcantara gaiter, and M Performance floor mats.
