New BMW Business models now available in Singapore

Singapore. BMW Asia today introduced the new BMW 116i Business, BMW 316i Business, BMW X1 sDrive20i Business and BMW X3 xDrive20i Business, which will be retailed by Performance Motors Ltd. The new BMW Business models have been competitively equipped and priced to appeal to a wider customer audience.

BMW 116i Business: Unique driving pleasure in the premium compact segment.

The new BMW 116i Business is powered by a 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine with an output of 136hp and a maximum torque of 220 Nm. It takes 8.7 seconds to reach 100 km/h from a standing start. With an average EU fuel consumption of 5.8 litres per 100 kilometres and CO2 emissions of 134 grams per kilometer, the BMW 116i Business offers an impressive combination of performance and efficiency.

Driven by BMW TwinPower Turbo technology, the engine comprises of a twin-scroll turbocharger, High Precision Injection, VALVETRONIC and Double-VANOS.

Other fuel-saving features include Brake Energy Regeneration, electromechanical servo-assisted steering, as well as the unique-in-its-class features like the eight-speed automatic transmission with Automatic Start/Stop function and ECO PRO mode.

On top of these fuel saving features, the BMW 116i Business comes standard with essential equipment such as Comfort Access system, electrical seat adjustment with memory function, Park Distance Control Sensor (Rear), Xenon headlights, BMW Radio Professional and a hands-free kit with a USB interface.

BMW 316i Business: Lightest in Weight with High Fuel Efficiency.

The BMW 316i Business is powered by a 1.6-litre petrol engine that uses BMW TwinPower Turbo technology. Driven by a twin-scroll turbocharger, High Precision Injection, VALVETRONIC and Double-VANOS, the four-cylinder engine provides significantly improved driving dynamics with an output of 136hp at and a maximum torque of 220 Nm. The car takes 9.2 seconds to reach 100 km/h from a standing start, and has a maximum speed of 210 km/h. Its fuel consumption over the combined cycle is 5.9 per 100 kilometres, with a low CO2 output of137 grams per kilometre (EU combined test cycle).

The BMW 316i Business comes with BMW EfficientDynamics features including a class-leading eight-speed automatic transmission, Auto Start/Stop function and Driving Experience Control with ECO PRO mode. Additionally, it also comes standard with Comfort Access system with contactless opening of the boot lid, electrical seat adjustment with memory function, through-loading system with 40/20/40 split-folding rear seats, Xenon lights, Park Distance Control (Rear), and a hands-free kit with a USB interface.

BMW X1 sDrive20i Business

The BMW X1 sDrive20i Business, a multi-award winning trailblazing crossover in the premium compact segment, is driven by the BMW TwinPower Turbo technology to achieve increased performance, greater fuel efficiency and lesser CO2 emissions.

Powered by a 2.0-litre engine with twin-scroll turbocharging, High Precision Injection, VALVETRONIC variable valve timing and Double-VANOS variable camshaft timing, its four-cylinder engine is capable of developing a maximum of 184hp and peak torque of 270 Nm. It completes the century sprint in 7.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 205 km/h. It has an average fuel consumption of 6.8 litres per 100 kilometres, and its CO2 emissions are 160 grams per kilometre (as per EU combined test cycle).

The BMW x1 sDrive20i Business is supported by BMW EfficientDynamics technologies including an Auto Start-Stop function and Driving Experience Control with ECO PRO mode. Furthermore, it comes standard with a sport leather steering wheel with gearshift paddles, Comfort Access system, electrical seat adjustment with memory function, Xenon lights, Park Distance Control (Rear), and a hands-free kitwith a USB interface.

BMW X3 xDrive20i Business

The BMW X3 xDrive20i Business is powered by the 2.0-litre four-cylinder unit that blends hallmark BMW driving pleasure with exceptionally high efficiency.

The engine’s BMW TwinPower Turbo technology includes a turbocharging system based on the twin-scroll principle; along with High Precision Injection direct petrol injection, Double-Vanos variable camshaft control and VALVETRONIC variable valve control.

Thanks to the use of aluminium, the powerplant of the BMW X3 xDrive20i is particularly light in weight and reaches its peak output of 184 hp from 5,000-6,250 rpm. Maximum torque of 270 Nm is available from 1,250 – 4,500 rpm.

The BMW X3 xDrive20i Business comes with BMW EfficientDynamics features such as an eight-speed automatic transmission and Auto Start-Stop function, and it comes standard with 18-inch light alloy wheels, a sport leather steering wheel with gearshift paddles, Comfort Access system, electrical seat adjustment with memory function, through-loading system, Xenon lights, Park Distance Control (Rear) and convenience telephony with extended smartphone connectivity.
