BMW releases one of the most attractive cars in the 5 Series fleet exclusively for the UK market: the new 2011 BMW 520d.
The 2011 BMW 520d has a four diesel turbocharged engine capable of 184hp and reduced carbon emissions with just 129g/km. Fuel consumption is also reduced at 57.6mpg because of lightweight aluminum material, the newest common-rail direct fuel injection, a turbocharger with variable turbine geometry, and its four-cylinder engine. This is the first time that a four-cylinder engine gets an advanced transmission of eight-speed automatic gearbox and the Auto Start-Stop technology.
Specifications include Dakota leather upholstery, BMW Professional Radio, Bluetooth telephone preparation, Dynamic Stability Control, Cruise Control, two-zone control automatic air conditioning, Park Distance Control, 7-inch control display, iDrive, and partial Black Panel technology.
BMW expects the 2011 BMW 520d Sedan to sell more or less 60% of the total volume. Prices start at £28,045.
