‘Fast & Furious’ star Paul Walker dies in tragic car crash

One of the stars of the Fast & Furious franchise passed away yesterday in a tragic car crash in Santa Clarita, about 30 miles north of Hollywood. Paul Walker, also known for his role as Brian O’Connor in the films, was also known as a BMW enthusiast and raced in the past with an E92 M3 in the RedLine Time Attack series.

Walker was a passenger in a friend’s 2005 Porsche, and they were on their way to a charity event for his organization, Reach Out Worldwide when the accident happened. The police found the car engulfed in flames when they arrived at the scene.

Walker is survived by his 15-year-old daughter, Meadow.
