BMW i9 to launch in 2016?

Auto Motor und Sport and other German publications are reporting that BMW’s i9 four-door futuristic sportscar may just launch in 2016. This launch year has notr been confirmed, and neither is the model, but 2016 will be a strategic launch date for the rumored i9 since this will be a transitional year for BMW’s leadership and commitment to future mobility. We know for sure that BMW has trademarked i1 to i9 monikers already but no other information has been revealed so far.
