BMW M235i runs 0-60 in 4.3 and 1/4 mile in 12.9 seconds

Car and Driver puts the BMW M235i 8-speed gearbox to an instrumented test. The new M Performance Coupe runs from 0 to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds and the quarter mile in 12.9 seconds.

70-to-0 braking is achieved in 153 feet.The M235i held on to our 300-foot skidpad to the tune of 0.94 g, a negligible 0.01 g lower than that E92 M3.

The fuel consumption recorded is 21 mpg, slightly below the 22 mpg reported by BMW.

The BMW M235i Coupe is powered by the N55 3.0 liter TwinPower turbocharged inline-six engine also found in the M135i. It produces 322 hp and 332 lf-ft of torque.
