See the BMW i3 parking itself with no driver aboard

On this test drive, the new BMW i3’s unique features were tested, including its ability to park itself — without any driver on board.

The Parking Assistant feature uses ultrasonic sensors to park the i3 in a spot with as little as 22 inches of extra space. The i3 completes the procedure without any driver input on gas or braking.

To make the video even more interesting, the driver courageously jumps out of the car and simply puts his faith in the car’s ability to perfectly park itself.
