2015 BMW X5 M and X6 M will debut at 2014 LA Auto Show

The new 2015 BMW X5 M and BMW X6 M will make their world premiere at the 2014 LA Auto Show.

The upcoming 2015 BMW X5 M and X6 M will use an upgraded version of the already powerful S63Tü V8 twin-turbo engine from the F10 BMW M5. We initially heard that the new engine will produce certainly more than 560 horsepower but recent reports put the actual output value close to 600 horsepower.

The F85 X5 M and X6 M will launch in 2015 and comes with large air intakes, wider bodykit, rear diffuser and blue calipers M brakes. At the rear end, the two brothers features the typical quad exhaust pipes. The typical front end from the X5 and X6 – headlights flowing into the 3D kidney grille – will also be seen on the M versions.

The standard sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is expected to be completed, for both models and thanks to all-wheel drive, in less than five seconds. Top speed is limited to 250 km / h from the factory but the M Driver’s Package will raise it to 275 km / h.
