BMW will unveil the second generation X1 in a few months. A prototype was spotted at Nurburgring during high-speed testing. It has teh modern BMW design language with a oversized kidney grille surrounded by new, elongated and more attractive headlights with the usual eyebrow. The large air intakes dominate the front bumper which also includes chrome inserts for an increased sporty look. In the back, the 2016 BMW X1 sports the typical BMW L-shaped taillights, now with LED strips.
