BMW is the official car for SMBC Singapore Open 2016.

BMW 7 series and 5 series to transport top notch golfers and VIPs.

Singapore - BMW has been appointed the “Official Luxury Motor Vehicle” for the prestigious SMBC Singapore Open, which will take place in Singapore at the Sentosa Golf Club from 28-31 January 2016.

 

The tournament will see the participation of top notch golfers from around the world including the likes of Jordan Spieth (current world number one and the winner of two Majors in 2015), who will be whisked around by a fleet of BMW 7 series and 5 series models.

 

“Golf is one of the three core sports supported by BMW, and we have a strong connection with the sport since our first professional golf tournament sponsorship in 1989. BMW supports golf tournaments around the world, from the amateur level to the pinnacle professional tours,” said Mr. Axel Pannes, Managing Director of BMW Group Asia. “The SMBC Singapore Open has a rich heritage and is recognised as one of the premier golf tournaments around the world. Boasting prize money of US$1 million, the tournament is being co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour and Japan Golf Tour Organisation for the first time.
