The adorable MINI Cooper S Convertible caught the eye of many people around the world, including some of the popular auto reviewers. Carfection was no exception, as he decided to take it for a test drive and see for himself is it worth the hype.

He points out that this MINI model didn’t convince him otherwise, though there are plenty of people who would disagree. Roofless MINI Cooper S Convertible might not please everyone’s aesthetics, however, many other features of the car were praised by Goy.
It’s hard not to fall in love with the quirky interior design, full of interesting buttons and rich materials. Not like we expected anything less from MINI Cooper designers!
The overall performance is slightly reduced, but it’s compensated with the experience open-top gives. As expected, there is less trunk space, because that convertible top has to go somewhere.
Still, at the end of the video, Goy isn’t convinced this car is for everyone. It’s understandable – just like any convertible, MINI Cooper S Convertible will fit a certain lifestyle and climate. In other words, if you live in a warm area in which driving a two-seat convertible makes sense, you’ll hardly resist it. But don’t expect it to change your lifestyle, or you’ll end up hating it for not fulfilling your expectations.
