MINI ALL4 Racing in 2016 Sealine Cross Country Rally

MINI ALL4 Racing is doing really well after two stages of the 2016 Sealine Cross Country Rally in Qatar. Three MINI cars made it to the top five so far. This is the third round of the 2016 FIA Cross Country World Cup; an amazing long distance rally in the desert. Being in this position is a great advantage as the race winds down to the last 3 rounds.

Taking second place is Yazeed Al Rajhi (KSA) and Timo Gottschalk (GER) driving the #202 MINI ALL4 Racing. The third and fourth places are also taken by MINI MINI ALL4 Racing cars.

It was not a pretty race for most of the competitors. There were a lot of incidents such as punctures and getting stuck in the sand and rocks. The Russian driving pair Vladimir Vasilyev and Konstantin Zhiltsov showed the length of their experience in driving the MINI ALL4 Racing #203 successfully amidst these challenges. They were able to place third.

The #205 MINI ALL4 Racing car driven by Ricardo Porém (POR) and Tom Colsoul (BEL) also did well in the 2016 Sealine Cross Country Rally. They were in third place in the first day but placed seventh in the second. Currently, they are on the fourth sport overall. Porém did exceptionally well even if this is his first ever long-distance desert cross country rally.

It was a great day for the MINI ALL4 Racing!
