BMW M2 dubbed the Perfect Sports Car for Everyone

The Verge tries to look for the perfect sports car and tests the M2 for it. Well, it is very hard to find the perfect car because each has its pros and cons. Cars tend to focus on certain things. They can be made with large interior space to haul more passengers like families, or they can be made with performance in mind with the ultimate goal of providing driving fun. The Verge says that the BMW M2 is the perfect sports car for the latter.

BMW M2 dubbed the Perfect Sports Car for Everyone

In this review, there were three testers that handled a six-speed manual BMW M2 on the track and they had different skills sets. The test was done in Monitcello Motor Club. There was one driver who typically doesn’t drive sports cars. There was another one who was more used to driving motorcycles. The other had years of experience with testing sports cars on and off the track. Despite their differences in skill and experience, every one of them had a great time driving the M2 and they loved it. They all came down of the car with a big smile on their faces.

The BMW M2 is powered by a 3.0 liter turbocharged I6 engine that delivers 365 hp. Its six-speed manual is one of BMW’s best, with the seven-speed DCT also being great. The chassis is really the game changer. It’s very approachable and allows anyone to get in and realize just how quickly they can drive. The learning curve is not very high for the car. New drivers can have fun with it, but experienced drivers can also be satisfied with its performance.

There may be no such thing as the perfect car but the M2 is pretty close.
