Goodwood Festival of Speed Will Feature 13 Special BMW Cars

Reportedly, BMW will be the Honoured Marque at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, so we expect to see some of the very best German cars at the show. They rarely disappoint, and 2016 Goodwood will feature 13 rare and classic BMW cars, including the one that will open the ceremony: 1957 BMW 507 Roadster.

The event will be held from March 23-26, hosting a number of historic cars. BMW Group will continue to celebrate its centenary in an appropriate way, so there will be plenty of surprises provided by the Bavarians.

The racing weekend will be open by the Lord March and Dr Ian Robertson, Member of the Board of Management of BMW Ag. Together, they will unveil the traditional sculpture in front of Goodwood house before the event officially starts.

What people love the most about this event is its main happening: the Parade of Champions. On this parade, all kinds of vehicles from numerous manufacturers will be driven by some of the world’s most successful and famous drivers.

BMW’s roll of honor will consist of 13 legendary cars and 5 classic motorbikes.
