Built for a Princess: Lava Red BMW i8

Abu Dhabi Motors was commissioned to make this Lava Red BMW i8 for Princess Al Hawi, the royal highness of United Arab Emirates. This is a one-off model fitted with as many AC Schnitzer parts as possible. This includes five-spoke wheels, carbon fiber side sills, a large carbon fiber spoiler in the front, and a huge wing on the boot. A few months ago, the interwebs have also seen a similarly tuned BMW i8 in Crystal White.

This Lava Red color is one that fits a princess because it attracts the most attention. The interior features white leather and blue seat belts for a unique contrast. Right now, we are unsure if this color is already a part of the BMW Individual Program or it was customized by the dealership.

The BMW Individual colors for the BMW i8 hybrid sportscar was first introduced by BMW UK. It gave the option for customers to have choices aside from the three 2014 launch colors.

BMW’s latest Individual color collection is priced £5,495 in this UK. Colors include Speed Yellow, Java Green, Solar Orange, Frozen Grey, Twilight Purple Pearl, Frozen Black, Grigio Telesto Pearl, and San Marino Blue.
