Together with the 5 Series Sedan and Touring, BMW will soon debut the 2nd generation 5 Series GT. The current Gran Tourismo as often been criticized for its design, but its driving dynamics and versatility have been praised.
But the BMW wants to create perfect vehicles, so they are announcing the visually updated 5 Series Gran Tourismo. Some of the design bits are imported from the other BMW models. The headlights flow into the kidney grille, the roof line meets an appealing boot design, and the sporty character line crosses the side of the car.
According to the spy photos we have here, the new GT will keep the same retractable spoiler from the 3 Series GT. The new 5 Series will debut at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show with a web debut in October.
