When first sightings of the facelifted BMW M4 were seen in the interwebs, it was a bit confusing because it had some extra aero pieces added. It looked like the special edition M4 sold exclusively in Spain, dubbed the BMW M4 CS. However, it also looked like a BMW M4 GTS, albeit a little bit tamed down. At that point, no one was sure what BMW was hiding under the camo. Today, as new spy photos appear, it becomes clearer that this is a BMW M4 Facelift with a new aero package.
The photos here show a BMW M4 facelift with the new headlights and taillights. It also seems to have the Competition Package — the 20″ Style 666M wheels gives us a clue to that.
Interestingly, it also has some aero parts that we haven’t seen before in an M4. There is a small chin spoiler in the front end. The camo is covering it though, so we can’t really see what it looks like. It has a small decklid spoiler at the back, also covered in camouflage.
Right now, we are still unsure if this is another special edition or just a new aerodynamic package that BMW may be offering soon.
The paint is also worth noting. The shade of grey used here is very interesting. It is not Silverstone Metallic but quite close. It is highly likely a new M Color.
