Video: Is the BMW M240i a Performance Bargain?

The BMW M240i and M140i replaced the BMW M135i and M235i and they aim to give more satisfaction to the customers this time. On the surface, it may look like simply changing the badges on the tailgate but these two vehicles really have so much more to offer. In this review, let’s find out if the the BMW M240i is really a performance bargain.

For starters, the new BMW M240i is powered by a 3.0 litre straight six cylinder engine that delivers 335bhp and 369lb ft of torque. That is enough to get the M240i in this manual car from 0-62mph in 4.8 seconds. It will go onto an electronically limited top speed of 155mph. BMW claims 36 MPG combined.

In this run, the M240i showed just how different it is from the BMW M135i. Inside Line was actually surprised that it was an adrenaline machine. To add to that, it is also quite affordable. So, that makes it a real performance bargain.
