We’re expecting a new SUV from the BMW in 2018 – the long awaited BMW X7. The car is planned to be the flagship model of the X division. It should push the Bavarian manufacturer to the new markets, too.
The X7 will come not in one version, but two. The planned versions are a four-seat ultraluxury and a seven-seat entry. It will be built on the 7 Series limousine’s platform.
We’ll see six and eight-cylinder engines under the hood, and a bonus hybrid drivetrain. The possibility for a flagship engine is also open.
The reports state that around 45,000 units will be made anually. The manufacture is planned to happen in the Spartanburg factory.
The sales are expected to start in early 2019.
