The BMW 740e is powered by a new 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with an electric motor, which combine to send power through an eight-speed automatic transmission. The 2.0 liter engine develops 255 hp and the electric motor to make 111 hp. Those two combine to make 322 hp, which is already good in terms of today’s luxury car standards. The 740e also develops peak torque at 1,250 rpm. 0-60 mph comes in just 5.5 seconds.
