10 BMW M4 DTM Specials Allotted for Australia

BMW announced last month that there will be a limited run of a special BMW M4 in celebration of Marco Wittmann’s DTM Championship. The BMW M4 DTM Champion will only be limited to 200 units globally and it has not been confirmed yet how it will be distributed to all countries, aside from Australia. News today reports that there will be 10 units allotted to the land Down Under.

The price is around 295,000USD plus other on-road costs. That’s almost double of what the standard M4 Coupe costs. Justifying the price tag is the increase in power output of 51 kW/69 hp to 368 kW/500 hp and a maximum torque of 600 Nm, hitting 100km/h in just 3.8 seconds and with a limited top speed of 305km/h. Combined fuel consumption is impressively restrained at 8.5L/100km. The BMW M4 DTM Champion will have a water-injected cooling system.

On the looks part, the cars will be Alpine White with M striping on the body, carbon-fiber reinforced plastic roof, CFRP front splitter, mirror caps, side skirts, rear diffuser, boot-lid spoiler, bonnet, titanium quad-exhaust system, adaptive LED headlights with BMW Selective Beam and OLED tail-lights, Orbit Grey matte painted 666 M’ star-spoke alloy wheels measuring 19-inch up front and 20-inch at the rear, three-way adjustable M coilover suspension fitted with remote reservoirs, two-seat DTM with a white roll cage, fire extinguisher, Alcantara trim, and a pair of M front bucket seats with six-point harnesses. Now that’s a long list of features for the lucky ones who’ll purchase the allotted ones in Australia!
