[World Premiere] 2018 BMW M550i xDrive – fastest 5 Series!

The world premiere of the 2018 BMW M550i xDrive marks the launch of the fastest non-M BMW 5 Series ever made in the history of the automaker!

The new generation of 5 Series is lighter, stiffer, stronger, more dynamic, has more technology, and more. It has the latest version of BMW’s iDrive 6.0, Gesture Control, Remote Parking and autonomous driving technology.

Having those features are good, but the performance of the car is even better. It is powered by a new, M Performance-tuned 4.4 liter V8 with two twin-scroll turbochargers, a High-Precision injections system, Valvetronic valve lift and Double VANOS variable cam timing. It allows the BMW M550i xDrive to debelop 456 hp and 480 lb-ft of torque coming at 1,800 rpm. All of that power and torque is sent through an eight-speed automatic Sport Steptronic gearbox to all four wheels, via xDrive.

BMW claims that it can reach 0-60 in less than 4.0 seconds. If this is true, it hold the title of the fastest 5 Series car and even beats the record of the M5 Jahre.

Exterior elements include an aerodynamic kit featuring an M spoiler, quad black chrome rectangular exhausts, side mirrors with Cerium Grey finish, kidney grille frames, Air Breathers, and a Shadowline trim around the window frame.

On the interior it has M550i xDrive door sills fitted, Multi-Contour sport seats in Black Dakota leather with blue contrast stitching as standard, the latest M-Sport steering wheel and aluminum pedals, and a lot more.
