[Video] BMW M boss discusses the future of the M brand

In an interview by BMW Blog with Fran Van Meel at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show, the BMW M Boss discusses the future of the M brand. The past, present and future of the M Division comes up in the interview. BMW’s sports division is seeing record sales year-after-year with 2016 being the best year for the motorsport brand and we are all excited for what’s next.

Van Meel also discussed the early success of the M2 Coupe and the track-ready M4 GTS, and how important these two are for the M brand and how they may influence some future cars. He also shares his thoughts on the 5 Series Sedan and the platform it will offer for future M5, dropping some hints at what to expect when it comes to an all-wheel drive M car.

The M Performance Automobile lineup was well represented in Detroit by the BMW M550i and the M760Li and ready to conquer the Nurburgring soon!
