MINI previously released some design sketches of a scooter concept coming to the Paris Motor Show. Just before the Paris Motor Show happens, MINI has revealed the first photos and details on the scooter concept.
This project is dubbed MINI E Scooter, a two-wheeler electric model powered by an electric motor placed behind the rear wheel. Fuel autonomy is estimated at 62 miles. Top speed is at 31 mph. These numbers are specifiaclly designed to meet urban needs.
Der Spiegel, a German newspaper, published a report that quotes Gerd Hildebrand, MINI’s Chief Designer. The revelation was clear. MINI will be launching three different models with three different themes: an anglophile version, an Ego model and an eco-version. The eco-version will have the same color scheme as the Mini E electric car.
The design elements of these scooters follow the philosophy of Mini. With its size, headlight shape, and over-sized tachometer, it represents Mini well.
Production models may also be introduced epending on customer feedback after the launch.
