BMW envisions a future where “sheer driving pleasure” will also be defined by how a car makes the customers’ lives easier through automated driving. BMW Group has been very open about their plans to create five levels of “fully autonomous driving”; the fifth level being the highest of them all. However, not everyone really understands what each of these levels mean. To make autonomous driving less nebulous, here is a video provided by BMW explaining all five levels of development.
