[Video] Drag Race: BMW M2 vs Porsche 718 Cayman S vs Audi TT RS

In this group test video, Drivetribe’s Road Test Editor Vicky Parrott takes an interesting trio to 130mph. Which is the quickest sports car amongst the BMW M2 vs Porsche 718 Cayman S vs Audi TT RS? Find out below.

The Audi TT RS has the upperhand because it is all-wheel drive and it has the most power among the group. It is lighter in weight and has a fast-shifting dual-clutch transmission and launch control. The TT RS gets to 130 mph in just 14.9 seconds.

The Porsche 718 Cayman S does not have as much power as the Audi. It is a rear-wheel drive and has a manual transmission, that takes so much effort from the driver to manage the revs, throttle and clutch just to launch it. It gets to 130 mph in 16.3.

The BMW M2 on the other hand is the heaviest of the bunch. It is rear-wheel drive and comes with a manual transmission – at least the one used for this test. Because it has more torque than the Porsche, though, it has difficulty launching cleanly. It took 18.5 seconds to 130 mph.
