The new and exciting BMW X3 is the latest addition to the list of vehicles manufactured in the Spartanburg plant. Despite some recent threats on the working relationship between Germany and the US, BMW have once again reminded everyone with how much good has come out of the Spartanburg plant for the past 25 years. Not only has it produced many amazing vehicles, it has also created tons of jobs for Americans. The BMW X3 is just a continuation of the Spartanburg plant’s legacy. The BMW Spartanburg plant is where all BMW X models are made manufactured except the the FWD-based X1. The production capacity is over 411,000 units annually. The German automaker continues to invest on the plant and they expect production to increase to about 450,000 units in the near future.
