[Spy Photos] Future BMW M2 CS Seen in Spain

The BMW M2 is already one notch better than the 2 Series and is well-loved by the crowd. In BMW though, they always focus on improving their current line up. That is how they stay on top of the game. Based on the criticisms and comments from the BMW community about the M2, they are currently brewing the a BMW M2 CS, seen on the spy photos below as it was spotted testing in Spain.

The BMW M2 CS will go against the likes of the Porsche Cayman GT4 as BMW’s super sporty, compact coupe. To achieve this, the car will receive a considerable increase of power. The M2 CS will deliver around 400 hp and 370 lb-ft of torque, using an S55 engine similar to the BMW M3 and M4’s. It will have larger brakes and superior performance, a new four-way exhaust system, larger air intakes, and many more.

The image BMW is going for for this model would be a bit extreme. Its most visible and notorious element will be a new large rear spoiler and a new set of bumpers.

We expect to see the BMW M2 CS in the second quarter of 2018.
