Two New Engines Coming for 2018 BMW X3

The official version of the 2018 BMW X3 has been announced some time ago, but the car is still not available in dealerships. The market launch of this model is scheduled for late autumn, but the Bavarians have already let us know that the new X3 will receive two more engine options right after the market launch.

Two New Engines Coming for 2018 BMW X3

As of December 2016, the BMW X3 range will be available in the xDrive20i and the xDrive30i versions.

The X3 xDrive20i will come with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine providing 184 HP and 290 Nm of torque. As you may have guessed from the name, it will use BMW’s xDrive all-wheel drive system. The 8-speed ZF auto gearbox will be included.

The X3 xDrive30i will have more power thanks to a B48 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine good for 252 horses and 350 Nm of torque. It will also come with an all-wheel drive and the ZF Steptronic 8-speed gearbox.
