[Leaked] Photos and Info: BMW M2 Competition

One of the most awaited cars in the BMW lineup is the upcoming BMW M2 Competition. It is expected to be a more powerful, more hardcore version of the M2 which is undoubtedly, a crowd favorite. After many rumors and spy sightings, we finally get some images and information LEAKED!

These photos seem to be marketing images for a video game but sources of BMWBlog.si says they’re legitimate. These photos give us a pretty good preview of the many visual upgrades it will get. It features more angular kidney grilles, some vents in the lower front lip, side mirrors from a BMW M4, all-new, much larger wheels and black badges throughout. Two wheels will be available: 437M and 788M.

For the interior, it will have BMW M4 seats, a red starter button and “M1 and M2” buttons, which indicate configurable drive settings.

The BMW M2 Competition will use the same S55 3.0 liter twin-turbocharged I6 engine as the BMW M4, according to the leaked information. It will deliver up to 410 hp and 405 lb-ft of torque with 4.2-second 0-60 mph time. These numbers may be conservative at the moment. It may well be more powerful since it will be very light.
