The Nürburgring Testing of 2021 BMW M3 and M4 Models

The 2021 BMW M3 and M4 were revealed to the public last week. Although their launch is scheduled for September, BMW M allowed us to peek at the latest technologies in the famous M3 models. They were even generous enough to let us follow the two M brothers on the Sachsenring, in Saxony, Germany.

BMW M releases a new video, spanning several months, if not years, showcasing the technological magic of the two vehicles.

The responsible behind the exciting video

The video takes us to the famed Nurburgring race track. It one of the most difficult circuits in the world. Also home to the BMW Testing Facility. The responsible for this fun video is, Christian Flessa, Head of Driving Dynamics BMW M, and Peter Schmid, Head of Driving Dynamics Systems BMW M3 / M4.

The Engineers

BMW M engineers have always remained focused on the overall design of the vehicle and have worked diligently to improve driving behavior until the required specifications have been achieved such as the control system, shock absorbers, or chassis components.

Flessa says ” The BMW M3 was created to offer perfect control and maximum performance in all driving situations, both on the racetrack and in everyday driving,”

Aside from Nürburgring, extensive tuning work is also being undertaken on many other racetracks. All in pursuit of the ultimate objective of the engineers. And that is to make the new BMW M3 G80 fully unique in the high-performance saloon class.

These two models will be released in September, with the first sales starting in early 2021.
