Atlantis Blue is among the colors that distinguish almost all BMWs. Some of the M models already featured with this accent. But not with the all-new BMW 8 series. So now, we will give you a peek on the BMW M850i Convertible’s exclusive photoshoot in Atlantis Blue accent.

The gorgeous blue shade is on the BMW individual catalog and the price of this shade in some markets can reach thousands of dollars. To add more spice, the bright blue accent was combined with a white interior. The pictures captured from Romania, portrayed the charm of old castles and cobblestone roads contrasting the mountain scenery.

No need for an introduction with this 8 Series Convertible. Its sporty and flashy look says it all! It is one of the best looking among the three members of the new 8 Series family. The classiest, along with the Coupe and Gran Coupe. The M850i Cabriolet is the big star, positioned just below the popular M8 Convertible.

The M850i steps out with several special feature changes, as all M Performance cars do. The M Sport kit includes special layout and fittings: front apron with extra-wide air intakes, designated side and rear apron layout, 20-inch M light-alloy wheels, M Sport braking system, and M leather steering wheel with multifunction seats.

Also available are BMW M850i xDrive Convertible front spoiler extension, high-performance wheels, exclusive cerium gray exterior components, stainless steel mesh interior trim strips and door sills with model inscription lightings.

Special Features

The M850i convertible’s special attributes are the neck warmers, which blow warm air from below headrest to allow the driver and front passenger to enjoy an open-top drive even in cool weather.

The BMW M850i xDrive model is the top cabriolet in the 8 Series family it is propelled by a 4.4 liter V8 TwinTurbo under the hood which produces 523 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque — the same as the M850i xDrive coupe. BMW also said a convertible would be 0.2 seconds slower than the coupe, 0 to 60 mph, in 3.8 seconds. The top speed of both models is 155 mph. This is also a major power and output boost compared to the outgoing 650i convertible (445 hp).

The 2020 BMW M850i Convertible is available in the United States for $122,395. This includes the destination and handling tax. In case you wonder, this is a cool $9,500 more than the Coupe alternative.
