[Video] The BMW 220d Gran Coupe Featured by Cars.co.za

One of the premier models in most markets today is the BMW 220d Gran Coupe. It was expected to gain only a few attention ever since the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe launching, which was opposite for what happened to the M235i. So does this tell us that the 220d Gran Coupe is not that good? Cars.co.za helped us with this by featuring it on their new video.

The 220d Gran Coupe is a car that not many of the Americans would consider because it simply isn’t sold in their homeland. However, it’s still a car that many consumers would find to be interesting, especially in several markets throughout the Pacific and the Atlantic. With its competent small diesel engine, the 220d Gran Coupe also offers remarkably good technology and interior. With its efficient, small, and comfortable characteristics, some begin to ask if it is worth acquiring. The truthful answer is maybe not.

Accordingly, what the BMW 220d Gran Coupe can do can be surpassed by probably many other cars. Take for example the better-looking and more-comfy-to-ride Mercedes-Benz A-Class. As long as you can live without the iconic BMW badge, there are more cost-effective cars that are just as efficient and comfortable as the said model.

What to see on the entry-level model of the 2 Series Gran Coupe

The styling of 220d is the real setback to be taken here. In any definition, a gorgeous feature does not fit the 2 Series Gran Coupe. Even Ciro di Siena, the host of Cars.co.za just can’t seem to recover from this. Some car enthusiasts agree with him stating that they can accept the great cars’ peculiar designs. However, it should only be to some degree. As for the 2 Series Gran Coupe, its peculiar designs appears to have passed the taste of di Siena and of some car enthusiasts.

As for you, do you think the BMW 220d Gran Coupe is competent enough to become a small, efficient and comfortable car for the consumers? Does it styling satisfactory for you to own one and drive in the city? Watch the video if you want to know more about it.
