Perhaps BMW SUV is made forever because they have become so famous that you can’t drive anywhere in the world on any street without seeing at least a few of them. But BMW is fairly new to SUVs, as it has only made them for around 20% of its entire history. That said, over the years BMW has done some really good SUVs and it is probably the best SUVs ever. Let us then take a look at Bavarian utility vehicles’ current crop to find out which is the greatest.
BMW X1
One of the best could be the smallest, the most affordable SUV BMW produced. The BMW X1 is a truly decent, compact, and affordable crossover thanks to its excellent look, a surprisingly pleasant handling, and an impressive interior. Ironically, because of its front-wheel rotation and more practicality, the SUV is the least BMW-like in the line-up. Nevertheless, the X1 is an underrated, impressive vehicle. The X1 is a perfect choice for enthusiasts who keep their sports cars in their garage before weekends.
BMW X2
The X2 is the largest oddball in BMW’s SUV lineup. It has the most strange look of all SUVs of the brand. Despite its higher numerical nomenclature, it is smaller than The X1, and much more expensive. To be honest, driving is more fun than it should be, and the M Performance is surprisingly enjoyable as well. That being said, X2 seems to be an answer to a question no one asked. An X2, except for customers who want something funky, is really not recommendable.
BMW X3
This latest BMW X3 generative is the best and is definitely a candidate not only for the best BMW SUV that is currently produced but also one of the best it’s ever made. The BMW X3 is unique because it is great at every level. Everyone from the entry tier X3 to the high-performance X3 M is impressive in its own manner. The BMW iX3, which offers the customers yet another powertrain option, is also an electric version. Nevertheless, because of its excellent results, the X3 M gives the entire X3 range the biggest boost.
BMW X4
Nevertheless, the X4 is a stranger than the X2. It’s not only bigger but still built on the same big bones as the X3. It sure looks very odd but those looks are indeed really common and give it some charm. It sacrifices its X3 sibling some practicality but retains the same powerful dynamics at least. Thus, unlike X2, it’s an oddball with some intent, even though it’s a little eccentric.
BMW X5
The BMW X5 could potentially pose a challenge for other BMWs when it comes to luxury cars. The X5 is so elegant and so stunning to drive that makes the 5-series insignificant.
BMW X6
We have returned to another oddball, but this one is all about pure style. The BMW X6 is by far the most extreme of all the “Sports Coupes” which BMW currently produces. It’s fun to drive, there is no doubt, but for the way it drives, nobody buys X6. X6 users are only after about elegance and comfort for their front passengers. The X6 M is a physical defiance vehicle, but you just want the particular model to get over the X5 M.
BMW X7
I remember clearly before the release the strong criticism of the BMW X7. Before even driving the X7, enthusiasts ridiculed its existence. But the X7 amazed many enthusiasts, including yours truly, with how easy to drive it is. The BMW X7, regardless of size or body shape, is the best luxury vehicle of its manufacturer. The interior is amazing, it has incredible space and runs better than the 7 Series. Its grille is horrible, but it’s a cheap price to pay for a magnificent luxury vehicle.
Who ‘s the best, then?
It is surprisingly difficult to choose who is the best among these SUVs. I went back and forth personally on some of them. And it’ll be a discussion in the comments but I’m certain that we picked the best deal. The best SUV the Bavarian firm produces is the BMW X5. If we are only to pick one among the many.
The X5 can hardly beat as a whole. Personally, I ‘d like the X3 due to its superior driving qualities, but the X5’s not far away from offering a smoother ride, a spacious cabin and plenty of cargo/passenger space. It’s definitely not cheap, but it provides all the cars that everyone in a daily driver would ever reasonably like. In addition, the BMW X5 can suit anybody’s taste in so many variations.
