BMW celebrates the 25th anniversary of the M Division’s M3 through this special video clip that revolves around the E30 generation. The E30 is considered one of the best Ms of all times. It is rare and exciting until today.
Based on the E30 3-Series 1986 model, the first M3 was powered by a 2.3 L I4 S14B23 engine. The engine design took inspiration from various BMW genealogy. The basic block layout from the M10 4 cylinder was reinforced to similar specifications of the BMW M88 inline-6.
