Today, we get to see the 2022 BMW X3 LCIÂ in two different hues, which are both available in the South African market. These new images show the entry-level diesel variant X3 xDrive20d in Sophisto Grey. On the other hand, we have the M performance variant, the X3 M40i in Brooklyn Grey.
While the Sophisto Grey version is in the dark and moody grey hue, this one is more attractive compared to its Brooklyn Grey sibling. Additionally, it has the potential to be quite popular soon, especially given the current trend toward monochromatic design. Currently, greys are in high demand and we barely have a variety of vibrant hues to choose from. The xDrive20d, with its more simple styling, is sure to be a great seller in this beautiful dark grey.
Now, for something considerably more stylish, let’s take a closer look at the BMW X3 M40i in Brooklyn Grey. It features a sportier front end, a lower ride height, and more eye-catching wheels, courtesy of its M40i badge. Without a doubt, it’s a performance model – it’s more trendy and modern-looking than the darker flat grey. It’s like the lighter Audi’s Nardo Grey, which has become the brand’s most popular hue for years. Considering that, Brooklyn Grey will certainly appeal to BMW’s younger customers.
The 2022 BMW X3 LCI is a handsome SUV that retains its successful formula. Yet it upgrades the necessary parts, such as the grille, interior trim, and cabin technology. And for sure, existing X3 buyers will be thrilled to exchange their old car for this LCI variant.
