BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine is a well-known vehicle in India. It’s not available in some other parts of the world, so it’s not unusual for its name to be unfamiliar. Built at the BMW Group Plant Chennai, this gran limousine is exclusively designed for the Indian market. Simply put, it’s a BMW 3 Series version with a longer wheelbase.
The vehicle is now on sale at all BMW India dealerships, in both petrol and diesel form, since last week. A special edition was released to commemorate the launch. A new milestone in the class is set by the BMW 3 Series ‘Gran Limousine’ Iconic Edition, which BMW describes as the segment’s “longest, most roomy, and most comfortable automobile.”
It comes standard with a BMW Iconic Glow Kidney Grille, an Exclusive Crystal Gear Shift Knob, Rear Seat Headrest Cushions, and a Panoramic Glass Sunroof. It also has Ambient Lighting, Comfort seats in the front and bespoke ‘Vernasca’ leather upholstery and a luxurious rear seat. Also included are driver assistance features, such as Parking Assist with Reverse Assist, Ambient Lighting, BMW Live Cockpit Professional, and Wireless Charging.
Currently, the new BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine Iconic Edition comes available in two variants. There’s the new BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine Iconic Edition in diesel and BMW 330Li Luxury Line in petrol. Bringing mores style, this unit is available in several metallic hues: Mineral White, Carbon Black and Cashmere Silver. Meanwhile, the upholstery may be ordered in either Cognac or Black.
The 3 Series Gran Limousine’s most eye-catching feature is the lighted kidney grille. Glowing kidneys were first seen on the BMW X6 but were later added to other vehicles as well. This brings more character and personality to the 3 Series.
